Ingredients
5 C. Self-Rising Flour
1/3 C. Crisco
1 C. Buttermilk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Sift self rising flour into a large mixing bowl
Hollow out a well in the center of the flour
Add Crisco into the well in the center, start mixing (do not use all of the flour)
Pour the buttermilk over the flour and the Crisco mixture
Gradually, mix until the dough is firm enough to handle
Sprinkle a little flour on a flat surface, place dough and knead gently
Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut out biscuits or pinch dough off by hand
Place on a lightly greased pan, with the biscuits gently touching.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown

Danish Ingredients
2 cans Refrigerated crescent rolls
16 oz Cream cheese
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Egg
1 Egg White
Glaze Ingredients
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 13x9-inch baking pan
Lay a pack of crescent rolls in the pan and pinch the openings together
Beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg together until smooth
Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls evenly
Lay the second pack of crescent rolls on top of the cheese mixture and brush with egg white
Bake for 35-45 minutes until the top is golden brown
Top with glaze after cooling for 20 minutes
Notes
You can use fat-free cream cheese, reduced fat crescent rolls and splenda in place of sugar to decrease the fat and calories. Instead of glaze, you can top with fresh fruit for an extra kick of yummy goodness.

2 Apples, sliced
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 cups Oatmeal
4 cups Water
Instructions
Add apple slices, brown sugar and cinnamon to the bottom of a crock pot
Pour oatmeal and water on top - do not stir
Cook 8-9 hours on low setting
